Fearne Cotton and Clara Amfo kick off the New Year celebrations early with a bumper selection box of the best tracks from the last 12 months. Joining them in the Top of the Pops studio are some of the biggest names in pop, plus they have the last number one of 2018.\n\nIt's been a blissful year for multi-platinum selling, singer/songwriter George Ezra who makes a welcome return to Top of the Pops with his smash hit single Paradise. Following on from her gargantuan debut album Chaleur Humaine and with a reputation as one of the most exciting live acts around today Christine and the Queens is back to bring us Girlfriend. Two years on from his Top of the Pops debut, Jonas Blue has become one of the UKs most successful songwriters and producers, with more than 25 million record sales to his name. To help ring in the New Year he has recruited best friends and pop/rapping duo Jack and Jack to provide the vocals on his summer bop, Rise. There is no stopping Anne-Marie who after dropping her long-awaited debut album back in April, released two top five singles and stacked up a plethora of award nominations. She's celebrating her success in the Top of the Pops studio performing Friends, her anthem for unrequited love. Making a welcome return to the Top of the Pops studio is young R&B luminary Mabel, whose star continues to be on the ascent. Tom Grennan makes his TOTP debut after a cracking year of soaring record sales and sold-out shows. This Bedford boy is set to perform his hit track Found What I've Been Looking For. Following a year out to record their highly anticipated second album, Years and Years stormed back into the charts earlier this year with If You're Over Me. They've come full circle, ending the year as they began, performing the track on Top of the Pops New Year. It's been a breakthrough year for Lewis Capaldi who brings his thumping hit single Grace to the Top of the Pops studio and as one of the Brits Choice nominees 2019 looks to be even better. Making his television debut with a track that has clocked up over 20 million views and counting, B Young is in the studio performing 079ME. Singer-songwriter Tom Odell makes a welcome return to Top of the Pops and is joined by fellow singer-songwriter Rae Morris to perform Tom's track Half as Good as You. There's no stopping the Grammy and Ivor Novello Award winning hit making machine that is Clean Bandit, they are joined by Marina from Marina and the Diamonds to perform their smash Baby.
