Highlights of the 2019 Figure Skating World Championships with men’s and ladies’ singles and the pairs and ice dance titles on the line.\n\nHosts Japan had won at least one gold or silver medal in the men’s singles event each year since 2011, whilst their individual female skaters had also won a plethora of medals in recent years, including silver and bronze in 2018, so a partisan crowd and an electric atmosphere was guaranteed for the sport’s annual showpiece competition.
