In 1976, members of the Baader Meinhoff terrorist organisation join forces with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestaine to hijack an Air France plane from Athens to Paris. Diverting the plane to Entebbe in Uganda, they hope to hold their passengers hostage in exchange for prisoners held in Israeli jails. Israel is committed to a policy of non-negotiation with terrorists, but behind the scenes they plan a daring raid.
