Plucky plane Dusty Crophopper learns that his habit of routinely operating his engine beyond its design limits means that he can no longer continue his successful racing career. Testing his limits in a defiant flight, Dusty causes a major fire at Propwash Junction, which leads to its closure due to inadequate firefighting equipment. Dusty volunteers to retrain as a firefighter at Piston Peak National Park, under the tutelage of an unimpressed helicopter called Blade Ranger.\n\nFeaturing the voices of Dane Cook (Dusty Crophopper), Ed Harris (Blade Ranger), Julie Bowen (Lil' Dipper), Curtis Armstrong (Maru), John Michael Higgins (Cad), Hal Holbrook (Mayday) and Wes Studi (Windlifter).
