Dennis Nash, a hard-working construction worker, struggles to keep the home he shares with his mother and son when he becomes unemployed. When his family is summarily evicted by utterly ruthless Rick Carver, his one offer of work comes from Carver himself, and despite his qualms, he starts learning the trade of home repossession.
