Decades of history are on display in the workshop today in the form of a photo collection. Araf has a lifetime of travel memories after a career as an air steward and keen photographer. He has captured his own family’s history over generations – but the photographs are shut away, and Araf would love something that would bring out the memories and become a piece he can pass down. Metalsmith John and woodwork specialist Shelley come up with rival designs to tempt him.\n\nPresenter Sabrina Grant brings in a box of her own precious items for a transformation. It’s a collection of denim clothing that belonged to her sister, who died suddenly ten years ago. Although Sabrina and her mum have repurposed and reused a lot of her sister’s things, the box of denim has been hidden away. Designer and fabric expert Chinelo wants to create something beautiful for Sabrina’s mum and for Sabrina too as a celebration of her sister’s memory.\n\nAnd remaker Elizabeth has a favour to ask interior design specialist Rob. Her son’s first guitar no longer gets played, so she gives Rob the chance to use his imagination and come up with something unique – and Rob doesn’t disappoint.
