After winning gold in Rio 2016, double Olympic champion Helen Glover decided to hang up the oars and step away from rowing to start a family. \n \nHelen had three children together with husband Steve Backshall, but the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuing lockdown brought on a change in perspective. Despite not having stepped foot in a boat since Rio, Helen decided to take a shot at a third Olympic gold. \n \nThis documentary follows Helen’s journey back into racing every step of the way, from regaining her fitness during the first lockdown in early 2020 to her selection for Team GB. It provides a powerful insight into what it takes to balance new motherhood with elite sporting performance, exploring the highs and lows of the road to Tokyo through the lens of those closest to her.\n
