Antiques Roadshow returns to Ham House in Richmond, where jewellery specialist John Benjamin is amazed to see a necklace and bracelet found in a bag of compost bought at a garden centre in Germany. \n\nMark Hill is intrigued by a chessboard artwork designed by film-maker Derek Jarman, decorated with pebbles and salvaged objects, while Hilary Kay reveals the secrets of a carved walnut shell that contains a miniature globe. \n\nGlass expert Andy McConnell relieves his youth as a music journalist when he meets a musician who performed at Eel Pie island, the site of a famous 1960s jazz and blues club in the middle of the river Thames. Richard Price has a nice surprise for the owner of a rare Omega watch made to commemorate the Apollo-Soyuz space mission in 1975. \n\nFiona Bruce meets members of the Punjabi community in Southall, hearing about a soldier who fought in a Sikh regiment in the First World War, and she looks at the work of the Poppy Factory, who have been helping veterans with disabilities for a century.
