After a couple of drinks, a girl admits to her best friend that she’s always wanted to know what it feels like to be kissed by a girl. But how will they feel, and has their friendship been altered forever? \n\nAfter the After Party is part of the Words First series of spoken word animations, commissioned to celebrate the finalists of the 2022 BBC Words First talent development scheme. \n\nThe words and narration are by poet Eve Atkinson and the animation is by Jess Mountfield. The film is a Calling the Shots production for BBC Arts supported by Arts Council England.
