But why now?\n\nSerendipity is part of the Words First series of spoken word animations, commissioned to celebrate the finalists of the 2022 BBC Words First talent development scheme. \n\nThe words and narration are by poet Charlie Staunton and the animation is by Daniel Smedley. The film is a Calling the Shots production for BBC Arts supported by Arts Council England.\n\nThe programme contains strong language.\n
