A live-action musical retelling the tale of Aladdin, a lovable street urchin. He meets Princess Jasmine, who has her heart set on succeeding her father as sultan but is instead expected to marry a prince. Aladdin is coerced by the evil Vizier Jaffir to retrieve a magic lamp from the cave of wonders, but it is Aladdin himself who is granted three wishes by an omnipotent genie.
