2023: Day 3 - Afternoon, Part 2
Gabby Logan introduces coverage from Istanbul on day three of the European Athletics Indoor Championships as six gold medals are handed out in what is set to be a thrilling session.\n\nThe headline event is the men’s 60m final. In the 2021 championships, Italy’s Marcell Jacobs raced to gold before going on to claim Olympic glory in the 100m six months later. The last Briton to take the title was Richard Kilty back in 2017.\n\nGreat Britain’s Laura Muir won the 1,500m and 3,000m titles at both the 2017 and 2019 championships and came to Istanbul hoping to make it a hat-trick. Her compatriot Amy-Eloise Markovc took 3,000m gold in Muir’s absence two years ago, but who will prevail in today’s final?\n\nThe other gold medals to be decided are in the women’s pole vault and triple jump and in the men’s and women’s 400m.\n\nOlympic gold medallists Jessica Ennis-Hill and Denise Lewis provide expert analysis, while commentary comes from Steve Cram and Andrew Cotter.
