Uninterrupted coverage of the first evening session in Budapest, featuring the fastest man in the world so far this year – Britain’s Zharnel Hughes.\n\nThe 28-year-old, who ran 9.83 seconds in June to break Linford Christie’s 30-year-old 100m record, lines up in the heats of the sprint event, which is also set to feature reigning champion Fred Kerley of the USA and Italian Olympic gold medallist Marcell Jacobs.\n\nKatarina Johnson-Thompson, the 2019 champion, is among the heptathletes who complete their first day’s competition with the shot put and 200m, Norwegian superstar Jakob Ingebrigtsen begins his 1500m campaign, and the evening’s three finals include Commonwealth champion Eilish McColgan in the women’s 10,000m.
