Series 4: 8. Liz and Paul
After nearly 40 years of marriage, and looking forward to a sociable retirement, Lizzy and Paul moved to their three-bed semi in Norwich. They loved the views and location, but with Lizzy suffering from a degenerative bone disease, the layout of the house has become impossible for her to navigate. They are desperate for some help to reunite them in their home and create a space where their family can come and visit.\n \nIn competition for Lizzy and Paul’s commission are top architects Lynsey Elliott and Damion Burrows. After investigating the problems, Lynsey thinks the key is to extend out the back to create a downstairs sanctuary for Lizzy, while Damion’s banishing the beige to create a joyful colour scheme.\n\nWill the couple go for for Lynsey’s calming wedged shaped extension or Damion’s explosion of colour?
