In her London home, Miriam is recovering from a recent heart procedure which has left her feeling more vulnerable. In a bid to adapt to this 'new Miriam', she returns to Australia, a place she considers her second home – and a country that, for her, still holds the promise of fun, inspiration and a better future.\n\nHer first stop is Perth, the capital of Western Australia, where she meets a host of local characters, gets out of her comfort zone and learns from people carving their own paths to success.
