Nigel and his wife Laura have recently moved into their dream cottage by the sea. However, the smaller space means they're struggling to find room for all the belongings that used to fill their larger family home. Every room is filled with boxes, packed with collections, inherited items and their grown-up children's old toys. Worried about parting with something valuable without expert guidance, they've called in the Travelling Auctioneers to get the best possible price at auction.\n\nProceeds from selling their heirlooms will help to bring a loved one home from abroad. Nigel and Laura's daughter moved to Japan two years ago, and they will use the money to pay for a flight so she can visit them in their new home.\n\nIzzie Balmer is tasked with securing top prices for precious family heirlooms at auction. Huge art deco cinema lanterns and an exquisite old brooch, lovingly passed down through the generations, are two of her exciting finds. \n\nRestorer JJ Chalmers stumbles upon a tired old rocking horse that has been adored by the family for over 30 years. His challenge is to get this play-worn horse ready for auction in just a few hours, transforming it from a neglected nag to a thoroughbred.\n\nFor Nigel, the clearance brings back fond memories of his late mother. He hopes his mum’s financial legacy will enable him and Laura to create many new memories with their children.
