After Julian’s family moved into a new house in Crofton near Wakefield in the early 90s, tragedy struck his family on multiple occasions, and a malign presence taking the form of a towering, terrifying shadow man seemed to appear to him and many of his friends.\n\nDanny looks into the cultural history of shadow figures, from Inuit folk history to modern internet phenomena, and asks Ciaran and Evelyn to help him unpack Julian’s unsettling account. Could these folkloric tales actually be based on facts?
