Series 2: 4. Emily's Room

In the final case of the series, Danny is joined in the studio by Angela and her daughter Emily. They tell him about events that happened to them in the early 2000s when Emily was a child. A seemingly supernatural presence that began as what Angela thought was an imaginary friend, soon grows into something far more terrifying. Both Emily and her sister became too terrified to sleep in their rooms, supposedly beset by the malign presence of an old man who threatens Emily and her family. When Angela’s friends and babysitters begin to experience things too, refusing to return to the house, Angela worries for the safety of her daughter. Events escalate to the point where the family feel they are physically in danger. It all seems beyond belief until Danny investigates the history of the house and makes a shocking discovery. As ever, the audience is invited to share their theories and help crack the case.
