Alan persuades Amanda to let go of her maximalist instinct for this final bedroom, and Amanda surprises herself as she leans into the minimalism trend for the first time - a million miles away from her usual design choices. So, the pair settle on an all-white, exposed natural brick feel as they name the room a Balearic balm oasis. To nail their vision, the duo visit B&B rivals and local friends Ian and Andrew’s Ibiza-inspired holiday-let, where bespoke storage and an innovative approach to the use of plaster get their creative juices flowing. \n\nEnergised to create a statement piece of their own, Amanda and Alan design a unique headboard wall to double up as a hidden wardrobe, but their DIY skills are pushed to the limit when it comes crashing down. Swapping out the boiler suits for Lycra, the pair scope out Moclin’s famous cycling routes for future guests. However, Amanda’s in for a rude awakening when her bike fails to work. \n\nBack at the house, chaos ensues whilst they plaster the headboard, and Alan gets more than he bargained for with an assault on the senses! As the bedroom is anything but calm, Alan needs to decompress, so he heads to the outskirts of Malaga for a sound-healing session with a difference while Amanda gets a lesson in plumbing his-and-hers sinks for a lavish ensuite. \n\nCleansed of negativity, Alan gets into his stride, whitewashing the exposed ceiling beams with decorator Ged. Meanwhile, Amanda goes organic in the beautiful hilltop town of Frigiliana, making natural avocado soap for the bathroom. Before the final push to get the room ready, the pals head to the Strait of Gibraltar for the trip of a lifetime. Treating themselves to a spot of whale watching, both are overwhelmed by the raw beauty of nature, and Amanda surprises herself when she becomes overcome with emotion.
