On duty at Bermuda’s international airport is officer Paul Watson. The subtropical island has strict laws on the importation of narcotics, and the British-born Bobby known as ‘Geordie’ works alongside airport customs to keep the airport free of drugs. But with 800,000 passengers flying into the island each year, it’s never easy. \n\nOfficers stop a suspicious group of young people and discover one of them is carrying a vape containing THC, the active ingredient in cannabis. Importing drugs into Bermuda is illegal, but the person recognises their error, and Officer Watson lets them off with just a warning. Later, the British constable questions a passenger held on suspicion of carrying magic mushrooms, but testing of the seized items eventually puts the man in the clear. \n\nBermuda’s narrow, twisting roads sees traffic collisions claim a life every 30 days, with the police having their work cut out keeping the island's road users safe. British motorbike officer Jules Brassington and his colleague Thomas Greenslade rush to a collision between a motorcycle and car. The motorbike rider has injuries to his legs, and whilst Jules polices nearby traffic, the injured man is safely taken to the hospital.\n\nBermuda has more than 60 miles of coastline, and it’s down to the police to keep its stunning beaches free from crime. The police K9 unit’s dog handler, Robin MacNab, is seen putting her detection dog Roni through his paces beside the sea, undergoing vital training involving a fellow officer posing as a violent criminal. \n\nAt the end of the exercise, Roni goes on to crack real crime when he sniffs out a package of cannabis hidden amongst the rocks on the beach.
