This obituary film charts the life of Pope Francis, born Jose Bergoglio in Buenos Aires, from his rise through the ranks of the Catholic church in Argentina, his election to pope in 2013 and the challenges and changes he faced during his 12-year pontificate. Often called The People's Pope, the film follows Francis's own journey of faith and his leadership of the world's Catholic population.
