2017: Appeal Night: Part 1
Tess Daly and Ade Adepitan kick off the night of entertainment with a sparkling performance from the hit West End musical Annie, featuring Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood as Miss Hannigan. There is also a sneak peek at the Doctor Who Christmas special.\n\nThe cast of EastEnders reveal hidden talents as they sing their way round the square in a show-stopping musical medley. The children's choir perform live in unison across the nation, and some deserving children get the surprise of their life.\n\nGraham Norton and Mel Giedroyc then take over for more fun and fundraising as the presenters of Countryfile swap their welly boots for cowboy boots in an unmissable performance. Cheer on from home as the incredible Rickshaw Challenge team from The One Show cross the finish line live from Glasgow.\n\nSome of the biggest stars of Blue Peter from the last 60 years take to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom and compete to win the Pudsey Glitterball Trophy. Joanna Lumley joins us in the studio to crown someone very special the Sir Terry Wogan Fundraiser of the Year.\n\nIn a highlight of the night some Children in Need project workers come face to face with one of their heroes and our official single is performed live in the studio.
