Series 12: 15. Taylor Family

From the day and hour they met, Selina had been selling the idea of living in Australia to husband Rob. After a holiday with her family in her teens, she knew it was the land of her dreams. Fast forward three years and it's role reversal, with Selena now the stumbling block and husband Rob pushing to go.\n\nRob and Selina Taylor live in Bridgnorth in Shropshire. They met through social media ten years ago when Selina 'liked' a photo of Rob on holiday with his mates. They met up in person and have been together ever since... and one of the things they talked about nonstop was moving down under.\n\nWhen they got married in 2013, there was only one place for their honeymoon and, like Selina, Rob too fell in love with Australia. They returned with a five-year plan and started to save towards the move. At the time Rob was on the cusp of a glittering career as a professional footballer but, just as things were taking off, Rob's dream was stopped in its tracks. A horrific injury forced early retirement. Rob was devastated. As the main breadwinner, what should have been a wonderful time for the couple was becoming more stressful; Selina was pregnant and not working too. Moving to emigrating was the last thing on their minds as they struggled to cope.\n\nNow the couple, with baby Alanna, have found their feet. With Selina in a good job she loves and Rob training as a football coach, he feels it is time to kick-start the Australian plan once again. Selina now has cold feet; a move would mean sacrificing strong family support at home. So, the trial week in Melbourne will have to answer a lot of questions. Will it convince Selina it is the right move? Or will taking daughter Alanna away from family be just too much to take?
