It's the second week of Springwatch, and Michaela Strachan and Chris Packham are back to catch up with all the latest news and goings-on from over the weekend. \n \nIt's been a frantic few days, the wrens have fledged, the mandarin ducks have hatched and a weasel has been causing havoc in a brand new whitethroat nest. \n \nThis week they are joined in Sherborne by Iolo Williams, who immediately sets out to stake out some of the farmland birds on the estate. He has two exclusive new nests - yellowhammer and yellow wagtail - both specialists of arable land, both in serious decline and both Springwatch 'firsts'. \n \nIolo also joined Michaela in the latest in Springwatch's line of entertainment spoofs - this time pitting a golden eagle against a white-tailed eagle in 'Lord of the Wings'. Expect bad hobbit puns, fancy dress and fascinating facts about these two iconic species. \n \nGillian Burke has moved south after her Shetland adventure, and is just outside Leeds to see how a series of disused mines have been reclaimed as spaces for nature. Despite the change only happening in the past few years, many rare birds including the black-necked grebe, bittern and spoonbill have already set up home here. \n \nThe second film about Richmond Park's wildlife from Japanese filmmaker Yazuru showcases the wildlife of this urban oasis, and there is a look at wildlife artist Robert Gillmor's extraordinary and long-lived career.
