Series 5: Episode 1

Gregg Wallace and Chris Bavin visit the Atkinson family in Blackpool. Michelle and John live with their three boys, Gary, 22, Liam, 19, and Kyle, seven. Despite working 50 hours a week, feeding the family has fallen to mum Michelle, and she is fed up. With the older boys in their twenties and earning their own money, they prefer to get takeaways, and the whole family are now regularly relying on fast food, even though they do a weekly supermarket shop and always have a fridge full of food. \n\nThe Atkinsons have the biggest food spend Gregg and Chris have ever seen, and it is up to them to put a stop to it. It is not going to be easy, but can they get the Atkinson men feeding the family, reduce the amount of takeaways they are ordering and get them to save some much-needed cash?
